The Twilight of Republic game set lets you go on different missions as Anakin, Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, or Yoda. All this without even putting the Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic play set on. There is even an online Flynn's Arcade area you can visit. You can visit other areas outside for some mini-games involving fighting and racing. Within the hub, you can get vehicles to race around. You can visit Cincerella's castle, the forest of Endor (yes, it's actually the forest moon of Endor), Tatooine, Nightmare before Christmas, and some other wooded areas (Snow White's cottage?). What makes it cool is there are several different mini-worlds within. You can also use any of the 2.0 and 1.0 figures you have here. The reason we spend so much time here is because there is a lot you can do and you can use any of the figures. The hub is actually more than just a tutorial section. New players will also learn what they can do here as well. The gameplay is pretty much the same as 2.0 but there are some minor differences.
As with 2.0, we spent a lot of time in the Toy Box hub to begin with. I spent some time playing with the game with my daughter to get her opinion as well. If Star Wars isn't fully your thing, there's also some Tron Legacy and Disney Original characters to play as. Other figures include other Star Wars characters and Star Wars Rebels ones as well. It also comes with the Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic game set (for a retail price of $64.99). The starter pack with the game and base features Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. This time around, at launch, the focus is on Star Wars but you'll find plenty of other characters as well. Disney Infinity 3.0 is officially here and there's a lot of new figures and game play to add to the experience.
